Very disappointed to come back to hotel at 10pm and find we couldn’t get a drink. Never stayed in a hotel anywhere tho has happened

My experience was positive with the room being clean and 💯 beautiful view. My disappointment in booking was terrible in being told we had to pay $50.00 for hotel parking! This should be included in room booking as there is no where to park at Manly without a big cost for all day or having to move car every 2 hours. Also disappointed as checkout was 11am and we went to look at the hotel swimming pool before we checked out and we were locked out at 10.30am. Very disappointed as it’s the first time I have stayed at manly Novotel and stay at Woolongong Novotel twice a year and a much better stay.

I am pleased to read that your overall experience is positive, however I would like to apologies if some elements of your expectations were not exceeded on this occasion. I appreciate that other properties have the capacity to include the car parking to their packages complimentary, however as you have pointed out parking in this area if of high demand and with limited spots onsite, we have to charge a fee to manage the demand, nonetheless I am sorry for the frustration caused. Novotel Manly is in a great location - easy walk to ferry, shops and restaurants. Fantastic buffet breakfast available too.

Disappointing dinner in the Restaurant on Good Friday. Fish was dry and mash potato was sludgy. The waiter who made a point of saying he would be looking after us, only appeared a couple of times (another waiter brought our meals and didnt know what they were) and it was difficult to get his attention. It was a drawn out evening as a result. Reception and Concierge staff were great. Lifts are so small and pokey... and slow. Location is fantastic.
