    More style than substance

Probably the most surreal check in a strange black and gold painted building with no name the check in was in a dark room like a set from the Addams family with the phantom of the opera blasting out we were asked to take a seat after 5 minutes the receptionist reappeared with the clipboard and took some details then produced a room rate £50 higher than we were quoted after disappearing for another 5 minutes said they would honer the quote but it was a mistake by Expedia we were then taken up many flights of stairs and along corridors to the top floor to our room.A fantastic picture window with a wonderful panaramic view of the Swansea coast but first impressions can be deceiving a dirty wooden painted floor a filthy bathroom no shower no television instant coffee a jar of unwrapped tea bags this was sold to us as a Deluxe room .When we retired to bed the road noise was very loud the bed and pillows very hard so not a great night's sleep with breakfast at a extra £32 we left early never to return

Pros: The location only a 15min walk into Swansea city fantastic views

Cons: Carpet in room door on bathroom a proper shower television real coffee variety of sealed tea bags unstained towls clean baics you would expect

    Misleading

The webpages are totally misleading we got through the door smell of damp food decor like something from 1920s stinky plastic flowers everywhere inside and out run down appearance me and my wife slept in car instead of staying there staff and owner rude we lost our money advice is don’t book as you won’t get your money back it’s a dump rooms advertising some over £1000 totally no body would pay this for stopping at this dump this is why I think we booked because website and information and photos make you think it’s good all falls to meet what you read 4and5 star ratings not possible please don’t have any thing to do with this hotel

It is a very pretty boutique hotel right next to the beach, nice small gracious touches and attention to details are second to none! A pretty garden for breakfast and cocktails, nice lounge and library, carefully selected antique furniture. It is a sophisticated sea Pavillion in boutique form.small scale. Wow!

A funky little B&B with no B. (Breakfast).

This is an interesting hotel. Well kitted out in the bedroom and lobby. Our room was a little small and at the back of the hotel with no view. A little over priced at £280 for a night but the service was good and room was clean. Great access to the beach with if that is what you need. Parking is only free after 4pm Saturday and all day Sunday and the parking is in a main road. A very funky welcome in the lobby with a glass of fizz was a nice touch.
