It was Easter Friday. Maybe the staffs were all very busy. I didn't like the wait for check in. I expected the reception staffs to be more friendly and informative. ( Maybe the online information these days have made everyone so self informed that the old generation like me found it quiet strange that the receptionist didn't explain more about the hotel on the arrival and was too busy collecting bonds from us. We were not sure if the Tv was free to watch. And it must have been ages for us not checking in a hotel. When did hotels stop providing free toothpastes and toothbrushes? In a way, it's good for the environment. Next time I'll remember to pack ours. Thanks to the location, we could buy everything we needed and the G-ling train was close by too. Overall, we had fun experience, very comfortable room and loved the view. We spent most of the time with our friends that were checked in at Hilton, 3 mins away from us. Hopefully, me and my child will find cheaper rooms at Mantra, next time. We had to book a room for two adults this time as cheaper rooms were not available.
