    The property is unique in its own right and I enjoy the property every time. I was very disappointed by my last visit, especially at the check in desk. I was staying only one night and presented at the front desk at roughly 10am and was told check-in is at 3pm. I asked if I could be checked in early as I was only staying one night and if there was anything they could do to accommodate me. They said, sure they could check me in early (meaning there is an actual room in the hotel I could be physically be checked into), but there would be $50 early check in fee. When I began to complain about the $50, they said they actually have no available rooms for me to check into. When I started to express my overall dissatisfaction, the response I got back was just a lack of sympathy and almost aired on, ‘well I don’t care, the rules are the rules and if you don’t like it, that’s fine with us.’ There was no situational awareness or understanding of my unique situation, given a 3pm check in and only staying one night. In the end, they gave me access to the pool while I waited which I had to change in the bathroom and bring my luggage into the pool area and to two bottles of complimentary water. What’s going on with the culture at this hotel? I’ve been going to this place for years and something is changing with the staff/culture and environment. Hyatt leadership, please address this before it’s too late.
