Upin arrival the staff cannot find my booking even with my name and passport, then they tell me they tell me because its booked through a third party they don't know if I have paid or not( it's prepaid 100% via wotif) and so they need to take full payment from my card as a security deposit. Not Fine because I never experienced anything like that when I was in Italy. When I travel I need that peace of mind thats why I plan and prepay! when I check out they told me all is good the money will be put back to my card very soon. Its been 10 days! Ive written email, no reply, no apology. And you know what? This is the first big hotel that doesnt offer a couple bottle of complimentary watter nowadays, even my airbnb host offered me water. No free wifi. You have to pay for everything. No warm feeling of a hotel, Zero hospitality. Dont be fooled by the location and the name. If the manager is looking at my post, hey you! time to give me back my money that you shouldnt have taken in thebfirst place if your staff knew how to do their job!
