The personal help given to the too of us , we were in a country area that we didn’t know, and the people that work there went above and beyond to organise a taxi and look after our car until we were able to get back the next day. We stayed that night and left the next day, what a wonderful Manor it is, thank you all for the exceptional service and the calmness you all provided, we will make sure our children, when they come over will make contact with our recommendations. Thank you so much, from two very lost people.

Nice rooms but a bit strange

The rooms are good, clean and tidy but staff behaviour was a bit unnerving. Maintenance man was in room when we first arrived (was after the normal check in time), then room wasn't made up the next day as asked and our key no longer worked. When we went down to the concierge his response was "you only have one night left" to then which it then took a couple of goes explaining that to use that one night we needed a working key to get into the room. Then that afternoon another staff member opened our door, walked in and then said "oops sorry sometimes I forget to knock." ?? Weird.

I am sorry that you felt unnerved by our Maintenance team being present when you checked in to your room. While I appreciate this must have been a surprise, we do ask all vacant rooms to be checked incase bulbs are missing etc. I would like to sincerely apologise that a member of staff opened the door. We have taken this matter very seriously and have reiterated our privacy policy to our entire team.
