Needed to be a contortionist to be in the bathroom.Public transport not easy or close to get a tourist pass- train a 20 minute walk away, and then didn't sell them- so expensive and slow bus to get to a station that could sell them. Found out by accident just before we arrived this was in the red light district- not an issue, but lots of staring at us together. Close to some good restaurants. Staff helpful & friendly.

Budget hotel

We needed one night in Singapore to ensure daytime flights and to catch up with friends.Hotel 81 (Premier) Hollywood suited our needs. The hotel is located in the red light district but this bother us.The room was small but had a view. Annoyingly there was a fair bit of noise from other guests on our floor and the air conditioner system was stuffy from stale cigarette smoke. In retrospect we should have stayed over >24 hours and taken advantage of a Singapore stopover deal and a better hotel.

Moto gp

We used Singapore as a stop over on our way to the Malaysian moto gp for 2nights.We found the hotel to be clean well located and very affordable,note that rooms are small but comfortable. Staff very helpful.

Small, smelly & noisy

For the price, the size of room was fine for an overnight stay only. However room & pillows smelt smokey & walls are paper thin. All through the night as quests arrived home even at 3.30am, you could hear talking & yelling from these inconsiderate people.
