Awful Hotel , Freezing Cold and Rude Staff
Absolutely horrific experience here. Arrived at about 8pm to a freezing cold room with no working heating in the middle of December. Was told a heater would be brought up as there were "no other rooms available", 20 mins later a heater arrives, it's clear that they already knew that the heating in this room didn't work. Neither did the hot water when I attempted to run a bath to try and warm up. I finally go down to the reception. They move me to another room (weird as 20 mins before there were no rooms available). This room also has no heating and it's pretty clear they knew as it already has a heater in it that hasn't been switched on so the room is freezing. Back to the reception I have to go. All I want it a room with heating, in the middle of December. Third room (wow, I thought there were no rooms free), this finally has heating and mostly hot water. Over an hour and a half. 3 trips to reception and finally I get a room with heating. Oh and room service on the phone didn't work and I needed to go down and order from the reception. It turned up cold, I really wasn't surprised at this point. At no point was an apology given, the woman on reception, Joanna, even walked away from me in the middle of me explaining that neither the heating or water worked - rolling her eyes in the process. The only person who tried to do anything useful was the lovely lady who brought up my heater. I was offered no discount or apology. Awful experience.
