Hotels.com didn't send over our bookings to Jinrong hotel. So ended up we need to share the last two rooms and both rooms are smoking room which made us feeling very uncomfortable since we are all non-smoker.

Grand but cosy
The hotel was very convenient for us as our son and family live nearby. We also had a cheap deal and were near the metro, a nice shopping centre with a good supermarket and parks. Breakfast was good and the staff very professional, friendly and polite. Our room was at the end of a corridor so only had half a window but that made it cosy. It had a double bed. The metro line 1 is a very busy line but far quicker and cheaper than taxi.

When I checked in, the front seemed surprising with this price (lowest price) that I got from hotels.com and she confirmed with her manager took time around 20 mins. It's quite unimpression and disappointment with unprofessional of their operation. Finally I got the room but she provided me the smallest room type( they spoke Shanghainese dialect that why customer got the lowest price bla.... ok gave her the smallest room) So I don't know it will happen again with other customers who booking this hotel. Anyway thank you very much hotels.com that really offer the lowest to us, Im highly appreciate with this and I will use your service again.

地下鉄の駅から１０分かからないくらいで、周辺には飲食店やコンビニもありまずまずの立地でした。 フロントのスタッフの方全員が英語が分かるわけではないので、少し手続きに時間がかかりました。 シャワーの水圧は弱く、お湯はぬるめ、ドライヤーもいまいちでした。 朝食ビュッフェは中華料理が豊富で美味しかったですが、妻はやや口に合わないとのことでした。 到着初日は目の前のガソリンスタンドのような場所が工事していてうるさかったです。 また、幹線道路沿いのため、車の音は常に聞こえました。
