Not sure if this is true 5 star hotel but very acceptable for the price and location. Very easy to get about BKK Via BRT Surasak Station attached to hotel. Hotel was Very Busy for Songkran - pool area beautiful but should have been made bigger to cope when busy. Great breakfasts . Good Gym and a good price - try for a suite - the exec rooms are a standard sIze for a modern hotel of this class.

The hotel has much to offer. The morning yoga class was standard for my wife while l had a quick dip in the outside pool before it got too hot. The hotel's buffet Breakfast was the usual for a large hotel. Plenty of fresh food but get there early to beat the masses. There were no ill effects after digestion. The gym was well equiped. Good for most gym junkies. Steam room and sauna for both males and females. Outside the hotel a taxi can take you anywhere you want. MBK was only 15 mins away with moderated traffic. Skytrain in much more effective getting around if you know what your doing. If you can read a map and ask staff at the stations all will work out. Beware the prices of things. Always agree on a price before you accept the ride. Meter "on" for taxi too. Massages are hit and miss. If you find a good one maybe give them a tip. And become a return customer. When it comes to eating out
