Fun Spring Break
The condo was perfect for just the two of us with a great location. Very easy check in process and the condo had everything we needed. We would definitely rent it again!

Not as advertised
The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were all very clean. However, when we pulled into the development we knew we were not going to stay. The grounds and building exteriors we not up to VRBO standards. Open dumpsters in the parking lot, a tennis court in shambles, it reminded us of a welfare motel. The neighborhood was not that good either. It certainly was not ( as advertised) a "Tropical Getaway." We have been using VRBO for ~ 20 years all over the US and in Europe. This is twice we have been disappointed although last time this happened it was the interior and not the grounds or development that let us down. WE were familiar with the building and location in that instance. Here it was our first time visiting the area so we didn't know about the neighborhood or the development. The other issue we had was that there was no lock box on the unit. Rather it was open with the keys inside. As check in isn't until 4 pm ( we didn't arrive until 7 pm) what would stop someone who might live in the development from coming in and making a copy of the key? Then coming back when we were out or even worse while we were inside. It was not really a vacation rental development but rather a run down residential development. We forfeited our three nights payment and checked into a Hilton. When I reviewed the listing that night I noticed that none of pictures accurately portrayed the conditions of the buildings and grounds. Not recommended by me.

Last minute vacation
We planned out trip the week before we left. We stayed 2 nights in Sarasota and enjoyed the beautiful beaches. Then drove on down to the Keys. This is the first time we used VRBO. Just FYI for anyone staying there is no door on bedroom and you have to walk in the bedroom to use the bathroom. It wasn’t a problem for us but it might be for some. You are about a 10 minute drive to the beautiful beaches in Siesta Key. The owner was very accommodating for us and even let us check in early.

Quick trip to visit family
The condo was exactly as advertised. If you are looking for an Instagram worthy property this condo may not be for you. However, if you are looking for convenience, location, and value for you money, this condo is it. This condo is in an excellent location, close to everything Sarasota & Siesta Key has to offer. There is a Publix directly across the street which is very convenient. Beach chairs, umbrella, & towels if you want to go to the beach. Pool onsite that was clean and not over crowded. Would definitely stay here again.
