Great hospitality in a beautiful setting

Pros: The friendly welcome from the family and staff at the dairy. Clean and comfortable rooms with a handful of farm animals grazing nearby.
Location: Its a beautiful setting, close to nature and about a 15 minute drive from the beach. An easy drive to either Moruya or Narooma.
I stayed at Bodalla Dairy with my husband and mother for two nights over New Years. From the very start we were greeted with a warm welcome and felt right at home. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well appointed. Right outside the door is a big beautiful pasture with both farm and wild animals. The Dairy itself is a great place for breakfast and lunch, with fantastic food, milkshakes, cheese and the most delicious milk!

Good food, but need rooms serviced

Pros: The food and coffee were nice. Omelette was the best I've had. The calves and goats etc
Cons: Just service your rooms each night stay. Adds value to stay.
We thought for what we paid for the room we would get the room serviced as we stayed for two nights. Just very expensive for what they are offering. However, they did give us cheese and wine to accommodate we had to ask for extra towels. But I'm guessing as we stayed New Year's Day it was that much. I've looked on websites no and it half the price? The food was very nice and coffee good. Very busy though, people right outside your hotel room.

Nice and close to the cheese and dairy factory!!

Pros: The view.
Cons: The bathroom rubbish bin should have been emptied and the bin in the main room should have had a lining. There were plates, but no cutlery.
Location: Travelling, so only went for a drive to Jemison Beach and Potato Point. Very beautiful. The dairy shed and calves were popular with families.
Nice room, comfy and large with good facilities. Lucky to have stayed in the end room that has a small deck overlooking the beautiful countryside. The bathroom was fine, though the shower was poor, but can't expect too much when you're out in the countryside in a small village. Once all the visitors had left the dairy facilities, it was very quiet and tranquil. There were lots of insects and flies, but the screen windows managed to keep most out, except for the cunning ants that got into our food bag and ruined our David Jones' mince tarts. :-( The TV was rather small, and only one chair to view from. Overall though, it was a pleasant little surprise along the highway.

We loved it here. Super cute and excellent brekky

Pros: The cafe and the gorgeous surroundings
Cons: Internet
Give Glenda a raise :) Without her we would have been stranded in the cold and the dark with no where to go. She came out after hours to let us in to our room. We were tired and stressed and Glenda made us feel super welcome and comfortable. Excellent place to stay, just sort out your internet (or don't advertise that it's available).

Quick stop at Bodalla

Pros: Lovely and spacious room.
Cons: There were spider webs in the corner of the room, café opening at 9 am was a bit late for some of us :) eagerly awaiting.....
Location: Explore the nearby Anglican church.
We had a quick overnight stop at Bodalla. Lovely room, it was neat and tidy. Enjoyed meeting farm animals and cakes, cheese and breakfast from the shop. The staff were friendly and apart the sound of passing trucks at night it was pleasant experience.

Insect Invasion

Pros: The views were excellent as was the food and coffee from the restaurant. It is very quiet and peaceful. The restaurant staff were very helpful.
Cons: The insect screens on the windows need to be improved. Removing cobwebs and small spiders from the ceiling.
Location: Beautiful beaches, bushwalking, markets on the weekend, scenic drives
The first night a horde of tiny flying insects attracted by the lighting invaded the room. There were no brooms or cleaning utensils in the room to remove the insects. Outside at night it was extremely dark with no lighting between the carpark area and the room. As the room key is obtained from the restaurant it was not clear who managers the motel. The accommodation is reasonably priced.

Quiet room in a beautiful country yown

I really enjoyed my stay. Comfortable room and nice surrounds of the Bodalla dairy shed with the pub across the road and bakery not far away either. Nice touch to get some fresh Bodalla milk for your tea/coffee.
