Great villas. Close to everything but so quiet and relaxing. Staff went above and beyond and made a huge birthday banner for my daughter in the kids room. I personally prefer a villa over resorts and felt so safe and extremely welcomed.

Pros: Spacious

Location: Excellent beach to walk on which is paved for 5 km
My fiance and I arrived in Bali on the 3rd November 2017 and we first stayed in Ubud. We arrived at the Ellora in Sanur on the 7th November and stayed for 6 days. They insisted on having copies of our 2 passports upon arrival which was fine. We received a call on our 3rd day from "The Bali Airport" advising that we had won the first prize of one weeks stay for 4 adults in any 5 star resort in Bali due to a 'promotion' they had over the past month. They had the full details of both myself and my fiance with the correct spelling of both names (our names are difficult to spell). They picked us up the next morning for the 'presentation' as this was a huge event at another 5 star resort in Nusa Dua promoting Bali due to the active volcano at Mt Agung which stopped tourists from coming. This was to promote Bali. When we arrived at this 'event', we were greeted by Westerners whom were giving us the hard sell on buying a share in property in Bali - in a nutshell it is a timeshare!!! We spent 6 hours there of our holiday. I asked our driver on the way back to our hotel about this and he said that they do it all the time and he is the regular driver. People are upset all the time. The ONLY people who had our details are the Ellora. Not the airport (when we fill in our card as to where we are staying) as we were told we arrived in Bali on the 7th Nov. I confronted the reception and they finally admitted this to me NEVER stay there as your personal details will be shared - UGHHH

Great villa close to beach and shops

Brilliant stay. The villa was perfect,pool was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough for us including preparing and cooking breakfast in our villa every morning.

Best stay ever!!

Pros: The modern style blended in with the Balinese architecture, The staff. The whole experience
Cons: nothing.
Location: Everything is a stone throw away. Water sports, Beach , Cafes, Restaurants... Loved Sanur
From the moment we were picked up at the airport to our whole stay at the Ellora villas was superb. The staff were lovely and wanted to do everything to make our stay a great experience. Our breakfast were amazing and cooked for us fresh every morning, The villa had all the comforts of home and more.......The pool was amazing , good size, the villa was exceptionally clean, and the staff were always polite and friendly. If you want a getaway that you can relax and recharge this is the place to stay. The villas are tucked away through a lane way which is only a min. walk to the main street and your in the hart of Sanur. Across the road you can walk through to the beach and relax with all the cafes right on the beach. Will definately book again .:-]

Renovations + Closures

In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the property during Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year for a 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM). Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on Seclusion Day.
