Saint-Estephe accommodation

Just a one-night stay, but after one night, we wanted to stay a week. The personnel were not just helpful, they were downright AWESOME. Above and beyond. We came in around lunchtime and opted to eat on property. Best decision we could’ve made. The small staff made the most of their culinary skill. The lunch was perfect. Homemade jams and other special touches made it so. Seriously perfect. When we are in town for dinner and had a less-than-subpar experience, we remarked, almost in unison, “We should’ve eaten on property.” The room was a standalone bungalow up a short path. The configuration of the property was quirky in all the right ways. There is a small outdoor pool (which we knew was there at booking but didn’t use), and the room was very comfortable. Bed linens were just right and the bathroom was ample. Each room has a hard key and a safe key. Took a little to get it right, but no issues. If you need to stock up on snacks, you’re about a hundred meters from the Aldi. We had indicated we’d have breakfast, and despite getting up earlier than anticipated and wanting to hit the road, we stayed for one last taste of the incredible service and hospitality here.
