Great location, average service
Pros: great location, lovely decor, comfortable bed & great blackout curtains
Cons: room had 2 single beds not a double & staff were not helpful in trying to rectify this (being able to zip singles together is surely an industry standard- Langham and Hilton can manage it), staff generally indifferent to us, shower temperature and water pressure woeful and insufficient towels and toilet paper.
Realise that when you pay less through a hotel booking site, you will not be getting the best room but having booked many times through wotif in NZ, expected more than this from a 5 star hotel.
Duty Manager needs to up his game.

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us and I will surely bring this information to the attention of the team.
We do not offer 'zip an link' beds as we truly believe this is not a substitute for a real king bed as there is a noticeable difference in comfort levels, indeed all Waldorf Astoria properties employ the same property.
I hope that this will not deter you from a future visit.
