We had a lovely stay, reception were very friendly and welcomjng and offered great assistance getting bags to the room and setting up the cot bed. Restaurant and bar staff were also very welcoming and professional and food and drink were delicious. We will definitely be booking again

FABULOUS! Highly recommended.
We spent 2 nights in the suite which was huge and very comfortable. We also ate at the restaurant and the food was really good, one of the best scallop dishes ever. All the staff were just wonderful, and the hotel is just charming. A great location too. This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at and the prices were very reasonable. I wish there had been a fridge in the suite, plenty of room for one, and the toilet was a bit tricky to flush, but we understand this is a very old building so not perfect plumbing. These are very minor issues, and I would still rate this hotel 10 out of 10. Can't wait to visit again.

Lovely hotel and very pleasant historical building. Room 106 was cosy and lovely bathroom. View from window isn’t beautiful but we didn’t mind. TV wasn’t working properly but we didn’t really want to watch it on this occasion. We chose not to have breakfast but we could really smell it when we had the window open in the morning.
