Whilst it fit the description of historical we assumed that the appearance would be the only thing. This room smelled musty, mouldy and dusty. So over powering I could bare to be in the room, had we been staying longer then one night we would have booked else where after the first night! Smells like a dusty old museum. Train runs right past in the middle of the night! Please for the love of god wash the drape over the bed and the curtins

Absolutely amazing place. It was hard to believe it is in the middle of Rockhampton. The only down side is the trains. They woke us a few times however a small price to pay for an amazing experience
