Filthy room. Dog poop smears on the carpet. Numerous other stains all over carpet. Must wear shoes at all times. Water damage and mold on the ceiling. No coffee in rooms. Stained sheets. Bathroom molding was filthy with hair and dust crusted on it. On top of the conditions of the room being gross, the hotel forced me to pay the pet fee for my service animal, grossly misinterpreting the ADA guidelines for service animals. The policy states, directly from their own website, “Under the ADA laws, the hotel cannot charge an extra fee for the service animal as they would another client with a pet.” MEANING, the hotel cannot charge the extra fee ($40) for the service animal as they CAN charge for a guest staying with their pet. The owner’s comprehension of this rule is skewed and I suggest he ask around to other hotels and hotel owners to see he is absolutely wrong.
