We have stayed here twice recently in the 2 bedroom apartment and it has been perfect for our family. The motel is a short drive from the shopping area and restaurants. It is walkable to the domain and we enjoyed a stroll around the gardens there. The motel is clean and has all the basic amenities required. We often stay in Ashburton when picking up and dropping off family at Christchurch airport as it is a much quieter spot to stay rather than Christchurch City.

Property is great budget accommodation, if ageing somewhat. This showed in the air conditioner remote controller not working, although it worked well enough from the inbuilt switches.
