Love the minimal environmental impact philosophy. Great to see people putting principles into practice, and leading the way.

Great 2 nights stay, had no faults. Beds where comfy, our room had plenty of space, loved that there was no tv, and the breakfast available was fantastic. Would stay again :)

Good value, nice atmosphere

Pros: Hi-fi radio in the bedroom
We enjoyed the hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness and the excelent hi-fi radio box (with internet radio) that we had in the room. Not very close to the city, but we had a car so this was not an issue (and the hotel offers free shuttles 3-4 times a day). Also, we really appreciated the fact that the hotel is an environmental friendly one - a big part of the rooms are decorated/built using recycled materials.

Too far from every place

There was No TV , far from down town and far from shopping, far from beach or lake . Too small no much rooms inside it . Car park really terrible. Felt like a jail, rooms are inter crossed with each other.staff are really not co operated . Service bad

Close to town centre but not too close - quiet

Pros: Close to town, near the lake, generally pleasant atmosphere
Cons: The parking could be a bit hit and miss. No designated spots as such. If restaurant was busy guest parking can be a problem.
Location: Loads of stuff to do in Queenstown !!!!
Overall the experience was good. Room decor was nice and liked the use of recycled materials. Beds comfortable, heavy curtains were good for allowing a sleep in. Wouldnt say it was as family friendly as other places we stayed. No laundry facilities ( had been planning this as a catch up stop for family washing) but could pay to get washing done. Washing was returned in a generally unfolded pile in the container, would have expected it at least to be folded as paying for the service. Also didn't find the restaurant dinner menu to be family friendly ( even for our 17 year old), this was disappointing our first night after a long day. Liked the seat above the veggie garden, lovely place to sit and look at the lake.

Peaceful hotel back off the road.

Cons: A chair perhaps in the living area. Single beds weren't the best to try and sit on to relax
Unfortunately the men discovered there were no tvs in the units perhaps this could be mentioned on the website.(I know it's a retreat but they had to communicate with their wives!)

Eco Mecca in heart of tinsel town

What a surprise to find this zen like place in Queenstown! After a crazy Christmas the comfy beds, amazing fresh from the garden food, relaxed staff, tech free rooms and yoga classes! Found accidentally through last minute booking. Will definitely be back!
