Negatives - the outside of the property gave an impression of being uncared for, e.g. dirty window sills, cobwebs, unkempt front garden we were expecting a cooked breakfast as had booked this, but was told on arrival that as they did not have a commercial license, we would have to prepare our own breakfast. Dusty bedside lamps in the bedroom Positives - friendly staff great bathroom with separate bath Had the place to ourselves, so enjoyed the lounge with the cosy pellet fire

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately with our very wet winters it is difficult to keep the garden looking it's best but we are working on getting it ready for Spring and Summer now and expect it to be brimming with colour, vegetables and herbs again in the next few months. I'm sorry that you were expecting a cooked breakfast. In over 10 years we have only ever advertised and offered breakfast provisions in our generously stocked kitchens, at no extra cost to our guests, and have never offered a cooked breakfast as we don't have a commercial kitchen to cook one in. Glad you enjoyed the pellet fire, we love ours too.

Home from home

Pros: So many little extras such as cooking condiments, breakfast provisions, comfortable beds and sofas.
Cons: We had no issues to comment on at all.
Location: We did the wilderness cruise in Strahan which took up most of our day. We feel Queenstown has a lot of history to offer. The locals were very friendly
Excellent accommodation, especially as we were 2 couples travelling together. It gave us space and comfort to relax and enjoy. Very clean, plenty of facilities and quiet. Heating system very efficient.
