View great - room very average
Pros:the view, the people and the proximity to the town
Cons:the buildings are tired, poorly decorated curtains old mouldy single glazed windowse noisy. The wind whistles in. Water pressure
Location:central city which is great, the sea and town are really close by
We travel a lot as a family.
The taxi driver didn't know the differences between the hotels (aston) and got lost, - not a terrific start.
While reception and the people / staff were welcoming and the view was great - the buildings are tired, dated, poorly decorated, single glazed, had curtains that didn't work (and had mould on the back) and overall the rooms lacked a modern feel.
It was our third hotel in Hawaii - the other 2 were significantly better value.
Overpriced in our opinion and very average ... but a great view

Great appartment right on the beach
Our family if 5 had a great stay at the Aston, we had a two bedroom appartment on the 29th floor. The appartment had everything we needed,full kitchen 2 bathrooms and washer,dryer. The best part was the view of Waikiki beach just amazing!!! The Aston beach tower is right on the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful and accomodating and went out of there way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We highly reccommend staying at the the Aston!

Nice hotel close to beach
Pros:Everything- very spacious rooms We had a 2br apartment and it was huge! Complete with washing machine and dryer. Loved the constant surprises
Cons:Renovations were happening when we were there and I'm sure it will be lovely when finished.
Location:Located at a perfect place- beach opposite is ideal for swimming with no rocks underfoot. Cafe opposite makes great coffee and nice snacks.
Nice hotel with friendly staff and constant surprises........An upgrade to full ocean view and free drinks and chocolates on our first day! cookies on our second day! a leaving present of 2 beach towels and a limo ride to the airport!! Very friendly staff and perfect location.
