Near a train station, Hotel Acadia is in Quebec's Old Quebec neighborhood, an area with good shopping. Place Royale and Citadelle of Quebec are notable landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Battlefields Park and Montmorency Falls. Old Quebec Funicular and Aquarium du Québec are not to be missed. Our guests love the hotel's location for the sightseeing.
Hotel is in old Quebec, centrally located to places we want to explore. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The only time we took transpo is when going to/from airport(20-30 mins drive). And when we took city and ice hotel tour separate days. It's an old but cute hotel, i don't mind. Had a spacious room with 2 double beds. And staff welcomed us with a bottle of wine. No elevator so pack smartly. There's still snow when we went so we had large luggages. It was a struggle. Rooms has thin walls and ceilings, i could hear everything, even the flashing of the toilet. Felt like we're in the same room. Hard to sleep at night especially when other guests going up and down the stairs with their heavy feet. Can management do something about it to lessen/ minimize the noise? Love to go back and stay here again only if....
