Car park is located away from your accomadation, so all luggage had to be carried up and down stairs and over undulating land. Overpriced for a glorified caravan park cabin. Good location for exploring the Houn Valley

The location of the cottages was great and the view over the water was lovely. Our cottage no. 3 was very clean except for the horribly stained, sweat marked settee. We had to ask for extra towels so we could cover and sit on it. Apart from 2 other worn uncomfortable wooden chairs at an equally worn table there was no other place to sit. Our friends in another cottage had better furniture.

Comfortable overnight stay

Super clean. Lovely view over the river. I would classify this accommodation as a cabin rather than a cottage. Small but fine for overnight. Nice staff.

Great to relax after tripping

After tripping around and sightseeing it was great to have somewhere to go back to just to relax and spend a night or two. It felt sort of like we were at home.

Clean, comfortable

Easy to find, lovely locals, amazing views of the Port. Highlight-The local hotel food and facilities. High end presentation and quality meals. Best value and food in Tassie! Front cottages have a bit of highway noise.

Stunning river views

Pros: The views from the rooms and the deck overlooking the lake. The staff Ling and Tom were amazingly helpful and available.
Cons: The kitchen utensils could be improved with bowls for eating cereal. Also a coffee plunger would be good.
Location: The cottages are located in almost pristine wilderness with a couple of nice little hamlets nearby which have interesting historical connections.
Comfortable one bedroom accomodation with rooms overlooking Port Huon. Lots of wonderful sunsets. Generally well provided kitchen and other facilities

Beautiful place to stay

Quiet and relaxing with beautiful views. Everything provided to make a meal. The staff are friendly and give you plenty of information about tourist activities nearby. The only thing that would have been nice is some air conditioning in the rooms. It was fairly hot the night we stayed and fans just don't cut. Would definitely stay here again and reccomend it to anyone going down to the huon valley way.
