    There was a nice view, BUT the manager / owner tried to rip us off by locking one room and demanding an additional payment to open it. The floor coverings were stained, and the towels were very thin and smelly... had not been dried properly. Everything was MEAN.... tiny dish cloth, stained crockery, minimal supplies e.g. soap, milk etc. The shower was over a bathtub but no non-slip mat was provided. We discovered that the local Visitors Centre would NOT deal with this property.

    Ketamine lodge was convenient, clean, we had no issues, it was as we expected it to be.

    Quiet place, near Hartz national park & Hastings cave. Shop before getting there as there is not much around.

    Convenient for a one night stay. No air conditioning, but we were told “it’s not necessary in Tasmania “, there are still hot days in Tasmania. Clean rooms, friendly staff and service, comfy and soft beds. Nice views. Super outdated but convenient.

    Host was lovely and gave great information on things to do and places to see. Restaurant next door was lovely. Basic accommodation however it did the job fine
