We have stayed here many times. The location, the ambiance, conversing with other guests and the friendliness of the staff makes this a great place to stay.

Gay friendly, pleasant staff and exclusive beach in a remote location are the main advantages of staying at Turtle Cove. The amenities are clean and tidy and the food basic and consistent - a good basis to create your own ideal holiday....

nice hotel with excellent staff and good friendly

clean, tidy and nice with pool facilities and secluded beach. encourages guests to mingle and socialize. only disappointment is that there is no free wi-fi in rooms (can only be accessed at hotel bar area) and mobile internet reception is not that good within area.. (not hotels fault)Relaxing and enjoyable stay. staff excellent.

Loved it!

Pros: The relaxed, casual, anything goes vibe. Great evening meals for a very reasonable price.
Cons: The resort is a bit run down but charming. Being very private from everything and in the rainforest beside the sea, it has a beautiful atmosphere
Location: Lovely pool and private beach. There a some great day trips to be had from both Cairns and Port Douglas which are about 20-30 mins drive away.
I had 4 fabulous days and 3 nights at Turtle Cove with my partner for my birthday. We both had the best time and met a lovely bunch of like minded people. Turtle cove is the perfect place to stay if you want to be away from the hoards, want privacy and freedom to be yourself....the location is superb!

Awesome

Great location. Great people and great staff. The resort is a place to relax, build friendships and feel completely comfortable to do your thing. The staff were awesome. Cam was great, not only did he serve up great drinks and make sure we were well taken care of, he also found my lost engagement ring. Food is brilliant. Hats off to the chef

Excellent for gay stay. RELAX AND ENJOY. WE DID.

Pros: Every thing just right to enjoy.
Cons: More time to stay there.
Location: It is all around the major attractions and then come back and just relax and soak up the resort.
Escape and enjoy a total experience of yoyr making and the staff will look after you in a traditional aussie gay way.
