Found cockroach in room, very limited toiletries(no toothpaste etc). Phone kept ringing after late hours.

The view of Perth across the Swan River was spectacular There was no printed information for guests in the room. Guests had to scan a code attached to the wall. This assumed everyone has a working mobile!! There was no printed information re menus or restaurant hours, no instructions for the TV which was very difficult to to set up, no check out info, no taxi phone line info and no fire instructions (relevant during my stay). A single A4 sheet would have been appreciated

The rooms are quite spacious, and curtains make it relatively dark. Beds are comfortable and it's relatively quiet inside. The view from the upper levels is great. The air conditioning worked well which is good as it was very hot when I was there. The location is not really walkable to anything so you have to drive to get dinner etc. The free parking is a bit of a misnomer. If you get in or get back after about 6pm all the parking spots are full - however I did manage to get on-street parking overnight in the surrounding streets.
