We had a very special time with the Taj. The room was stunning with a beautiful view of the mountain. What was a real standout for us was dining at the Bombay Brasserie. A real treat.

Inconsistent service. Seating in the dining room in some places too low with respect to tables. Early evening disco music in bar not appropriate to this standard of hotel. Allowing guests into breakfast restaurant in nightwear not considered in line with the standards expected in this hotel. Concierge Dale deserves particular note for his extremely good service and assistance.

Generally Very good stay with comfortable rooms and facilities and polite staff . .Breakfast was excellent offering Indian and western cuisines. Check in was slow as rooms were not ready at the said time . Taj missed a trick , as a gesture they could have offered a free complimentary drink/ snacks to show good customer service but didn’t.
