Previously Versace Hotel and still has a lot of the Versace branding around the hotel and in the rooms. Tried calling Reception, then Concierge and then Housekeeping after checking in as there was a lost and found bag and slip still in the room. The Housekeeping message bank still referred to being Versace. Checkin was a bit confusing. We pulled up out the front (valet style entrance) to be told to head further down the street to a driveway to then buzz in to the underground car park. Parking was free. We came up to reception and whilst the lady was preparing our checkin, we were served some shot glasses of Turkish iced tea and a chocolate (which were both very yummy). they wanted to take a $300 deposit for any incidentals however wouldn’t accept my bank card as it was in my maiden name (despite this being the card I paid for the room with) and didn’t match my drivers licence. My husband had to then provide his drivers licence and bank card. We then headed to our room which was way down the end of the right hand wing (facing the hotel from the front) and to room 149. A long walk for a hotel room. The room had a very small courtyard with two random old worn out chairs on it, no table, no view (only the brick wall). Foxtel on TV was great. Huge spa bath was excellent and we used it. Overpriced mini bar and some items missing. Outdoor pool was nice but no spa. We went for the purpose of dining in Marina Mirage as is next door. Would stay again for $241 on a Sunday night.

Overall extremely disappointed, we had been looking forward to the stay, however they are charging for five star hotel of what it used to be it’s now old doors peeling holes in walls. Nothing is maintained it’s dirty and we couldn’t even use a microwave to warm up our babies milk without a $50 charge

Beautiful property but unfortunately starting to get run down. Would in shower, chips in floors, shower door wouldn’t close flooding bathroom, bath pug didn’t work so couldn’t use spa bath, staff vacuuming outside 0800 Hrs… endless others , for price, expected more. Food though amazing
