I suppose it was unfortunate that I booked for a Saturday night so that the noise coming from the street ,was quite audible, including noise from cars. The room was very clean and bed comfortable. The staff, friendly and efficient.

Very good hotel in central Salisburych

Pros: Location Décor Staff
Cons: No lift easy luggage transportation to rooms
Location: Excellent for some "down" time The beautiful town path walk past "Old Mill" and across the "Watermeadows" The cathedral The pubs
Choose this hotel because of the brand name and it didn't disappoint. Lovely "period" seating area in foyer which sets mood for the hotel. Loved the unlevel hallways which creaked under foot; very historic. Easy walking distance to the central locations of Salisbury, including pick up point for Stonehenge trips and some great drinking and eating spots. Station to hotel requires a taxi, though can be walked without luggage. Friendly staff across all facilities; check in, restaurant and room service.
