Very nice, clean, well-appointed room and modern bathroom with a shower over bath and big, soft towels. The mattress was firm but very comfortable and I slept well. Although I grew up nearby and visit the area often, it's been many years since I last dined at The Carrington Arms, so I took the opportunity to have dinner there and wasn't disappointed! It's well known locally as being an excellent restaurant and its reputation is well deserved. I also booked breakfast, which is served in the restaurant. The breakfast menu has a good choice of cooked options with a hot drink and fruit juice too, and there are extras available for a charge. I had eggs benedict which was perfectly cooked and presented. The staff were friendly and the service was good and very quick from check in to check out. Overall a very nice stay and all for a reasonable price.

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at this hotel - in fact it's possibly the best hotel we've ever stayed in within the UK. Room was spacious, bed was mega comfortable, cleanliness was immaculate, TV on the wall was better than the modern TV we've got at home ... We opted for breakfast too and that was delightful and plentiful and the views from the 14th Floor (where breakfast is served) are magnificent. We also had a cocktails on the 14th floor and they were sensibly priced (for a hotel) and it was really nice looking out over MK in the dark. The next time we visit MK - we will DEFINITELY being staying here! Very very high recommended
