Awesome spot. Close to all things Newcastle!

Pros: Location and friendly staff
Cons: N/A
Location: Local restaurants, cafes and entertainment
Was welcomed by the staff and felt very comfortable for the entire stay. Great share bathrooms, as they can often be a deterrent.

Clean and tidy hotel with pleasant staff

Pros: The Hotel was well priced and the staff made the stay enjoyable.
Cons: A breakfast area would be a plus.
Location: I was down on business and don't know Newcastle that well. It was reasonably close to the CBD and to the Family Court where I was running a case .
The Hotel was well located and well refurbished. The staff member who met me was very cheerful and polite. I was shown the room and the facilities and everything seem in good repair and serviceable. The shared bathroom was very minimal but well kept and clean.

Excellent staff

Comfy bed and pillow. Great location. Staff were excellent during the whole stay. Parking not ideal but the staff looked after our luggage while we found a car park. Quiet rooms easy to sleep. Will definitely be back if we need to visit Newcastle again.

well placed, nice walk through to library and arts

Pros: location, friendly staff and its unique character
Cons: nil
Location: arts and library and beach
lovely staff and very comfy well priced hotel. Unique and not a standard factory produced hotel room where every square inch in approved by an accountant. Well located and right next to PLEBS which would have to be one of the VERY best cafes in town. Great coffee, lovely staff and fantastic sustaining breakfast. Hotel was funky and quite special. Very clean and homely. I felt at home and happy to sit up at the bar with the locals. Not noisy at least during week nights that i was there.

Excellent value

This place was much better than expected. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Share facilities are good and spacious. The pub has been modernised while keeping some nice charm. Complementary fredo frog on the bed and a free beverage after check in at the bar is very welcoming, thank you.
