Pros: Getting a cake from the hotel on my birthday. They must have realised when they took my passport details.
Cons: Getting ripped off by the tuk tuk drivers having asked hotel to help with fixing the fare

Pros: Absolutely spotless cleaning and the great service in the restaurant AND right next to a temple with Raffles bar on the other side
Cons: A little away from the river district, but totally manageable on foot or by Tuk Tuk
Hotel restaurant is excellent, good menu, great service, and excellent coffee.

Pros: The most outstanding feature of this hotel were the people. We found the staff extremely helpful and courteous.
Cons: Unfortunately there isn't a swimming pool which we missed due to the heat.
