The property has a superbly positioned to the Mai Khao beach. Its a safe beach, golden sand, clean and warm. The staff are friendly & engaging. The location is very isolated from Phuket Central, so if a place that is absolutely away form shopping, night life is your choice, this is great. There is a group of restaurants within walking distance (5 min) from the resort that offer an alternative to the Hotel. I found the hotel food underwhelming & expensive, a real compromise on every cuisine type. Sadly, a symptom of trying to cater for everyone. Our group only dined twice on site over our 4 day stay, these other options were significantly better for Thai food - and that's is surely what any holiday in this country is all about..

Quiet and relaxing
We stayed for 5 nights in a pool access room and it was just perfect. It had a safety latch and lock on the door which was great for our 3 year old son. We spent most of our days in the pool and given it was still not peak season we often had the pool to ourselves even though another six or so rooms could access it.
The room was lovely, bright and modern. Beautiful bathroom with a HUGE shower that we could all fit in together. A great big bench that fit our 3 suit cases. We had problems with our tv and safe but the staff were quick to assist.
We used the main pool one afternoon and enjoyed lovely happy hour cocktails.
Breakfast was decent as was the couple of meals we had on site. However the best meals we had were at the beach shack next door (Noonits). And our son loved playing with the local children in the sand while we ate.
He also enjoyed the kids club.
The minimart close by meant we could stock up on beers to enjoy in the pool.
I had a pedicure and massage at the spa which was lovely and reasonable prices.
Overall it was a fantastic place to stay for a relaxing holiday in an idealic beach setting. If you are looking for action or activities this is not the place for you.
For people like us who are happy to swim and read it was perfect and we would happily return.
