We liked the gardens and pool area, its proximity to the beach and Whalers Village. Unfortunately we stayed in room 326 in the 'Traditional' block. Traditional actually means old and tired. Our room had a door to an adjoining room and we could hear everything that was going on with the young family staying in the room next door. The bathroom was very old, the shower stall door didn't close properly. For some reason the hotel did not service our room on the last day of our stay despite us not putting anything on the door - they must have forgotten. The rooms do not have a full service each day apparently this is to conserve water. Sheets are changed every 3 days so on that day you receive a full service, on day 2 they make the bed, replenish towels, empty bins and on the 3rd day they are supposed to just empty bins and refresh towels.

We liked the cultural activities, the staff running them were great. The bedsheets on one of the beds were stained and we had to get the bed remade. Our room was very old,outdated and noisy and faced onto another multi story resort. We were supposed to get a free welcome breakfast but were not given directions to where the free one was so we ended up at the wrong restaurant. There were no spas and only one pool
