    A Wyndham in the ghetto

    This was perhaps the most ran down Wyndham I have stayed at. Needs major updating from room appliances to room decor.i stayed on the 7th floor and it felt very dated and stuffy .. didn’t even have usb plugins to charge my electronics like any other one I have stayed at and the elevators at this precise Wyndham..let’s just say .. ugh. However..Staff was nice

    Fair at best

    The room for the most part was clean. However the ceiling above the shower was covered with black mold and the overhead light didn't work. They only had one elevator working and it kept droping when you got on it as if it was going to fall. This was commented on by guests we talked with plus there was a long wait to get the elevator. The hotel itself was ok but we would noy stay there again.

    DO NOT BOOK HERE

    I booked this for my mom to be close to the airport for an early flight out of LAX. Pictures speak for themselves. Other customers were complaining and getting put in different rooms. Elevators were working on and off. Front desk person was so rude and disrespectful to customers in front of us. Then, he was horrible to me on the phone. He seemed overwhelmed and over life. It’s not his fault the room was horrible but he shouldn’t be aggressive when it’s brought to his attention. Anyone who had this room would have complained, it’s a no brainer. You can’t expect perfect from a hotel like this but it should at a least be clean and functional. Toilet had sticky stuff on the seat that would not come off. Tub was leaking. Carpet was even wet. Room was supposed to be nonsmoking and it smelled like stale smoke. Honestly, hotels.com should not even allow this hotel to be on their site. It’s that bad. You want to be sassed by the front desk, have a dirty, smelly, leaking room, pay $130 for a week night, and have hotels.com do nothing to help? Book here. They told me they would refund me if they checked out. Where would they go? I booked this like 3 weeks in advance so I wouldn’t have to worry. They had an early flight. And they count on you needing to stick to your scheduled plans/flight. Is it tolerable for 1 night? It’s survivable- but is that what it should be?
