We are a couple in their 80"s. We selected this hotel because it was within a mile from Cedars Sinai Hospital, where husband was scheduled for a procedure. On the plus side, the room was very clean with nice sheets, etc. However, the design was very modernistic. The phone looked like something from the future with the dial on the bottom. There was something that looked like a radio, but defied any instruction on how to use. Finally asked that desk and was told you plug your cell phone in to get the radio. We have old fashioned flip top phones, so that didn't work for us. It took 15 minuets to figure out the TV. Again no instructions. The pillows on the bed were very thick and bulky, very uncomfortable. The walls are very thin, lacking insulation. So whoever was in the next room, snored, so we were constantly woken up during the night. Needless to say, we had very little good sleep that night, which didn't help for the next days procedure. Additionally, there is only valet parking at 25 dollars per day. If we had known the parking situation, we would not have selected this hotel.Yes, you could take your car in and out as needed, the valets did an excellent job of getting the car quickly when requested, but for us, it wasn't what we needed. Also, the ratings for this motel were 8.2, so I thought we were getting something a little different. The price was good, but the added charges for taxes, room accommodations and parking added 53 dollars to the bill.
