Located in London's Canary Wharf neighborhood, The Collective Canary Wharf is in the city center and near the airport. The area's natural beauty can be seen at St. James Park and Russell Square, while O2 Arena and Tower of London are cultural highlights. Sky Garden and Coca-Cola London Eye are not to be missed.
The first room: At first, it looked very clean and orderly. There is a small galley kitchen with two burners, a microwave, and a small fridge. It comes with silverware, plates, and frying pans to allow you to cook if you choose to. There is an iron, but no ironing board in the wardrobe. The iron in the first room I was given did not work. Luckily, the dress I had wasn't that wrinkled. The bathroom is tiny - the shower is maybe 30" x 30"- & it smelled like something died in the drain. I was too tired the first night & hoped it was because the room hadn't been used in a while. I ran the water and the smell did disappear for a bit. The toilet lid was broken off. It also looked like the walls themselves hadn't been cleaned. When I woke up the next morning, I debated about changing rooms because I really hate doing that. However, I did alert reception to the problem later in the afternoon and switched rooms. I'm glad I did because the smell in the original room was even worse than I remembered when I went in. The second room had basic kitchen utensils such as a spatula in it and did not smell like something died. The room had the overall same layout. It's very small; the bed really does pretty much touch both walls and you have to climb over the bed to close the blinds on the window. The hotel is close to transportation. It's convenient to the DLR. I don't think I'll stay here again though.
