Good location, new and pretty spiffy (lots of nice tech). Upon reaching our room, we noticed that the room was not properly cleaned. One of the robes had a lot of hair on it, the coffee spoons were dirty and sugar packets were opened, they had left sheets on the pull out from previous guest, only one bath and one hand towel and missing items from the minibar. Later that evening, we noticed that the bathroom sink was backed up and wouldn't drain and then the toilet flushing mechanism was broken.
The next morning, we chatted with the concierge and he recommended we use the hop on/hop off bus to see the sights. We agreed and purchased the only option given (Original Bus Tour). This was a big mistake, the hotel must get a kickback as there is no way this was a true recommendation based on the crap service we received. We were told there would be live guides (there were none), some of the stops were skipped (due to an incident on the London Bridge). I get that these things happen, but they did not note what was going to be skipped nor that the pick-up spots were also being skipped. We lost many hours waiting for buses that never came and when they did, we would see 5-6 of the other company buses before ours would show up.
We notified the staff about the room conditions and they offered a couple free coffee coupons but never did replace the hair laden robe. When I brought the bus tour concerns up to the concierge, he shrugged, seemed to not care and offered no help to resolve.
