Our family stayed one night as part of our road trip from Sydney to Hervey Bay. What a great find! Much better than staying at a motel. The cottage is lovely and picturesque. The sunset overlooking the green hills was special. The fog in amongst the distance hills the next morning was also a treat. Would stay again.

It's in the country as promised. The property faces west so gets blasted by the western sun and there's no shade outside. The owner was home after dark so there was no feeding of animals and in the morning couldn't even say hello to us. And now an email telling me I haven't paid and giving me his bank account details when the payment was processed by Lastminute which I've also checked. Apparently breakfast was supposed to be included which was a loaf of bread and some margarine. There was also a quarter of a bottle of hand soap in the bathroom which you had to shower with, no little touches like you would expect, a complimentary shampoo and conditioner and shower gel. There's great brands in the Byron area to showcase and it would't be hard to provide some bath soap so guests feel welcome.

The cottage is on a working farm right next to the stock yard. It has a wonderful outlook and is comfortable and clean. There was very poor communication about finding the cottage. Although the address is a main road it is actually about half a kilometre up a track. I didn't receive an email with instructions and there was no current signage on the front gate, The name of the cottage has changed so this was very confusing after dark. It's a gorgeous spot and a comfortable cottage but make sure you get good instructions about where it is and how to find it

Great experience for the whole family. The kids love being out feeding the animals running around the paddock. Views are spectacular. Floors were pretty dusty and dirty and kitchen and bathroom could do with a wipedown. A lock or chain on the batgroom would be good. Would be handy to have a dryer expecially for drying the clothes that have to be washed from the kids being in the milking yards. We didnt reveive breakfast as advertised but not worried. Also just for future advertising maybe mention to pack some gummies. Dont get us wrong we have stayed in loads of places and just want to provide feedback. We all had a great time and you were some of the best hosts we have had. We will definitely return next time we are up that way. Thank you
