Lovely staff. Pricey for the offering and isolated so little opportunity to get cheaper meals and drinks. Beach a disappointment.

Beautiful resort in a stunning Location
Pros:It is stunning as is the location and the villas are really lovely.
My daughter loved the pool and canoeing in the bay.
Cons:Breakfast could be fresher with more options.
Location:The location is very remote, we didn't venture out of the hotel
We Recently spent 3 nights in a Pool villa at Amatara, which included a host of villa benefits including free laundry service, a very delightful traditional afternoon tea each day and complimentary pre dinner canape's and drinks, all amazing! Other wonderful villa inclusions included complimentary minibar and breakfast in the retreat which is STUNNING! The resort itself is stunning and the villa was very beautiful and luxurious.
We loved the Grill rooftop bar and my daughter loved the Kids club, which was a surprise because she was the only one there, but she didnt want to leave.
We managed to use the gym on 2 days and it is wonderful, the staff here and the steam room was really great!
The not so positive's were that the Staff spoke very little english and were for the most part pretty blas'e. apart from 1-2 of the girls in the grill restaurant, whose names i wish i could remember.
The Breakfast was very average!! especially when you consider it is supposed to be a Wellness Resort, there weren't really alot of healthy options and the fruit was unripe and hard it was all pretty blah compared to the fresh and plentiful food we had enjoyed at our previous hotel in Surin Beach.
Lastly the Spa, was really expensive even compared to luxury spas in Australia and while it was a beautiful spa and the treatment was ok, it wasnt a wonderful experience.
Overall though we still really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to relax and unwind
Room was excellent, food top quality, we did the hammam and were very pleased.
Staff are friendly and learning English.

This resort is sensational!
Pros:To be able to escape the hustle and bustle of Phuket, and retreat to the serenity and comfort of Amatara was a blessing.
Cons:The prices are not cheap, but the quality is excellent.
Location:The location is in a quiet part of Phuket, so the only things to do close are water sports or walking. It is very easy to get a taxi to the action.
We loved every minute of our stay here, never have we been treated to such outstanding service.
The facilities are luxurious, and all the staff are very friendly and do everything they can to make your stay more enjoyable.

We've completed our 10 days in the lap of 5 star luxury at the beautiful Amatara of Cape Panwa. Upon arrival it was evident that we had made the correct decision on where to celebrate the new years eve which coincided with the 20th anniversary of our marriage. We were welcomed with traditional Thai refreshments by the incredibly warm, polite and welcoming staff at the stunning reception area which overlooks the swimming pool, which in turn visually melts into the Andaman Sea, we were then escorted to our incredibly luxurious "Premier Sea View" room, boasting beautiful sea views from the private balcony, delightfully spacious with all of the facilities that one might wish to have in a 5 star location. The entire staff were at all times nothing short of warm, polite, friendly and amazingly hospitable making us feel not only welcome but very important which would seem to be the culture created and expected by the unassuming GM Brice, senior staff Garry, Lee and head chef Justin (just to mention a few of the management ). This culture of fine, friendly and genuinely caring support of the Amatara’s guests has been adopted by what is the perfectly selected staff to whom these values are quite obviously second nature with there generosity of time and effort extending beyond the resort to the local community. Our holiday has been an experience that not only provided the rest and relaxation that we were yearning for, but it was a soul enriching experience from which wonderful friends

Restful and Peaceful!
Pros:our room and view was fantastic! pool was amazing.
Was an amazing holiday. the staff are friendly and helpful and my wife and i are looking forward to returning sometime in the future. only gripe we had was there wasnt movies included (which the website says there is) because they switch them off for the low season. Also we had access to regent club but they didnt do afternoon tea and cocktails their during low season, but instead did them in the library. It was still good but the view at the regent club is fantastic so would have been nice to have the afternoon tea and cocktail there.

Very enjoyable far out from city , but very quiet
Pros:Very clean and wonderful staff
Cons:After check out care , the day room we were put in was very smelly and very disappointing
Location:Location was about a half hour into pantong and about 45 minutes from airpirt, but lively quiet location. There were resturants and aquarium close by
Had a lovely time. Lovely staff, rooms beautifully clean and cleaned everyday. Very hilly to walk in places . Staff very attentive, pool area absolutely gorgeous.
Step outside to feel the sun on your face and the sand in your toes on the white sand beach. Spend the day at the beach and work on your tan with sun loungers (chaise longues) or relax in the shade with umbrellas. Pamper yourself with a treatment at the full-service spa and enjoy amenities at Amatara Welleisure Resort like a complimentary children's club and an outdoor pool. Along with a restaurant, there's a snack bar/deli on site. You can enjoy a drink at one of the bars, which include a beach bar, a poolside bar, and a bar/lounge. Public spaces have free WiFi and wired Internet. This luxury resort also offers a children's pool, outdoor tennis courts, and a 24-hour fitness center. Limited free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. This 5-star Wichit resort is smoke free.
