The hotel was average and definitely not in line with the top dollar that we paid to stay there. The elevator has been broken for months with no fix in site. While there is another elevator, it is on the other side of the property, so climbing steps and navigating luggage through the maze of rooms is a must. The ashtray was clogged with old cigar stubs the entire time we were there--never emptied. The soap dispenser in our shower was empty and the note to housekeeping went unnoticed and was never refilled. Our view from our 4th floor room was of the maintenance area, so not very attractive, but I get that...you have to pay more for a room with a view. On a positive note, the food at the restaurant was excellent. The service was excellent. Using the Casa Marina pool was great. The Casa Marina is an amazing property and it's a nice advantage to being able to take advantage of their facilities as it's a sister property to The Reach. Overall, a great time was had by all.

The property was great. The front desk staff that checked us in was great and the bellhop was great as well. We came early and we had to wait for our room. The bellhop helped us keep our luggage and guided us to where we could change to our swimming outfits. On our way to the pool, we took towels from the gym just in case.

The room service was HORRIBLE, literally waited 45 minutes to a hour in a half to receive anything we needed. Had to call multiple times to remind them . The restaurant on sight were extremely rude and any food i got delivered to my room was cold. Beach staff was extremely friendly and helpful, outside of these things listed my experience was good.

I reserved an ocean view room, but was given a different room. The hotel insisted that the Expedia reservation was not ocean view even though I have it confirmed on their very own app. The ocean view room was confirmed at the time of booking and again during our travel the day of registration, but I believe they downgraded us. That, combined with some other minor things, made us very disappointed in a trip that was a surprise gift for my wife.
