Well set up for a short stay, very clean and comfortable. breakfast was perfect as I had an early start the next morning.

Pleasant Motel

Pros: Location and obliging personnel
Cons: not much
Location: Great Golf and food
I was very happy to aty at this place which is very convenient and complete.The manager Julie was very obliging when Wotif STUFFED UP our booking and did not tell her we had 4 rooms instead of three. She accommodated all of us with little fuss. The problem is that I STILL have not received a refund from Wotif after talking to them over the phone on our arrival for at least 20 Minutes and receiving all the platitudes anyone could bestow on you!! I doubt I will ever use them again for my bookings!! They have a beer garden fully stocked with drinks and food for guests to avail themselves on free of charge.

too expensive

Pros: position
Cons: water pressure,more detail on facilities at the motel
Location: close to main town and all facilities
for the money we paid could of had a 5 star motel in any city .The water pressure was so bad couldn't shower one day, and there were limited facilities in our room ,to prepare food etc ,generous with the tea ,coffee breakfast things.good bbq area with use of all facilities ,and were allowed to use the hotels kitchen for one night.There was a laundry that we were unaware of so spent $10 at the local laundromat instead. We were only ones there,overall if it was cheaper it would have been fairer for what we had,having said that it was warm, central,and the staff were like all King Islanders very friendly, have stayed in far worse.

Family stay

Pros: The ability to have the family under the one roof. The customer service was excellent.
Cons: This site had recently been impacted by a major storm. There were still rehabilitation works underway on the site to remedy the damage caused.
The deluxe apartment booked was excellent to cater for 3 generations of the family to stay under the one roof with adequate bedrooms to accomodate. The family room was was perfect for everyone to relax with morning sun streaming in. We will certainly stay there again. This is situated just out of Currie which was central for our needs for sightseeing around the island.

Perfect location in the middle of the island

Staff very friendly as is everyone on the Island... Short drives to anywhere on the island, nice and clean.... The only issue was spiral staircase for young children to go the bedrooms and very low shower pressure

Nice place, handy to everything

Pros: It was in a good location, quiet with a good view.
Cons: We needed some dish washing cloths in the barbecue area. When we had a barbecue there was nothing provided other than dish washing liquid.
Location: The location was very central, not far to airport and cheese factory. The cent rum of Currie was nearby.
We had everything provided what was required, a comfortable room and nice view, friendly staff and quiet and safe, It was a pleasure to be there.
