The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The driver was right on time to pick us up from the airport. The manager arranged a tour guide for us within 30 minutes of check in. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic.

A very nice hotel in a very convenient area of Kathmandu. Extremely nice and helpful staff and manager. Good breakfast and restaurant at better than average prices. Only issue is that hot water is a bit of a wait. Would happily stay again.

We have stayed at Oasis in Kathmandu as a base for several trips we have taken, i.e. Everest Base Camp, Chitwan jungle as well as visiting several places in Thailand. The Oasis Hotel is highly recommended by Lonely Planet and we have loved staying there! The staff is friendly and super helpful! Mr Tulsi arranged our Chitwan trip and it was terrific! The hotel has become like a home away from home for us! Betel and the reception staff have been very helpful looking after our bookings and storing our extra luggage! The cleaning staff is wonderful and the restaurant at the hotel is fantastic offering a delicious buffet breakfast every morning as well as lunch and dinner should you choose it. We will be sad to leave the Oasis in Kathmandu as it has been a true oasis for us! Thank you so much! From 2 very happy Canadians!! 😁❤️

We had a charming stay in this little gem. The beds were super comfortable with quality bedding and towels. Super clean. Staff was extremely accommodating and kind. The garden space for breakfast was lovely. The location was super walkable and but just off Thamel and a bit quieter. Hot water was better here than the posh resort.

First of all the staff are beyond exceptional. Super friendly and so caring towards all guests. Hotel is lovely and room is spacious with a big bed! So convenient to all the shops and restaurants in Thamel. Near the hotel are lots of genuine brand outdoor shops if you need the real deal and there is a small supermarket very close to the hotel. Bathroom has a small hairdryer and toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel in mini bottles and there’s a kettle in the room along with tea bags and coffee sachets. Only negative for me was the noise all night. The base and vibration from the local night club was really bad and some hotel guests / nearby residents didn’t know the meaning of being quiet. Not the hotels fault though. Still got a good sleep despite mainly due to the jet lag. May have just been unlucky with the noise due to it being a Saturday night.
