The staff and food was second to none especially Mayank. But the hotel lists several facilities that werent available and in dire disrepair. The hotel spa and massage centre was falling apart and in disarray but was stil listed on the avalable facilites online. I had actually hoped to use the facilities on rainy days but had to go of site to find them instead. Apart from this the resort was great but as said above needs some repairs and adjustments to online advertisements

Both pool areas were great and the restaurant has a beautiful overlook to the mountains. Our rooms were tidy and maintained each day.

a good 4 star resort ,very friendly and helpful staff. would recommend for people under 60 as there are some steep climbs and lots of stairs

Good location

I had good times during my stay at the hotel. The staff were so friendly. Only problem i had was the water temperature. Its hard to adjust and too hot at some point. The location is very good. Very close to shops and reataurants, and a walking distance to the beach. Thank you for letting us to have breakfast so early around 6.10 am as we had to rush to the airport afterward. Overall i had good experience.

Alright hotel

Pros: It has a nice pool, and decent bed.
Cons: Shower water temperature needs to be fixed, and the rooms could do with another ceiling light so it's not very dark.
Location: Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Close to both Karon and Kata.
Take note that this hotel is on top of a hill (about a 1 minute walk). This didn't bother me, but it might bother some others. The location is not too bad - it's between Karon and Kata (closer to Kata Beach) so it's best of both worlds. If you prefer very crazy nightlife, then you will want to be in Patong instead. The hotel room was OK. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was OK. One corner of the room is very dark as it could do with an extra ceiling light. The shower temperature was coolish warm, and only warm at best - tried to tell reception but they didn't really fix it. The water is especially cool-ish warm at night, maybe they're trying to save money by decreasing the water temperature? I don't know, but this did annoy me quite a bit. Also, I think the toilets in this hotel can't handle toilet paper (although this is probably the norm for Thai toilets), so be warned not to put toilet paper in else you'll be needing to call the reception for someone to come with a plunger!

Walking distance to Kata and Karon

This hotel was in good position, walking distance to both Kata and Karon beaches. There is a regular shuttle bus that runs to Kata beach that you can catch on the way back at set times to save walking up the hill. We didn't mind the walk, it's honestly not that far just may be too much for you if you're heavily pregnant, have small kids or have zero fitness. You can walk through the the hotel grounds (so many stairs!) to cut into town and some local shops. We wore our swimmers so we could have a dip in the pool after the walk back! Breakfast was a basic buffet. There are signs on the restaurant menu about a cooking class held in the restaurant but no one knew anything about it! (Instead we went to Kata Thai Cooking school at it was great!). The pools are good with swim up bars. Clean hotel, close to beach, don't expect 5 stars but it's a good hotel :)
