Cheap hotel

Staff friendly, breakfast rather boring. Pool rules not applied to guests, therefore jumping diving and shoving in pool,allowed. Won’t stay there again

Great location, close to beach, restaurants and sh

Pros: The location
Cons: Staff
Location: Plenty of restaurants and shopping is good
Found the hotel staff at breakfast not interested in guests, always had to attract someone's attention for tea/coffee and egg cooking The staff elsewhere couldn't be more helpful, always ready to assist you with whatever was required. As this was our 3rd yearly visit to hotel, thought they could have given both our rooms late check out not just one room.

Worth what you pay

Myself and my boyfriend weren't expecting a five-star resort for the lower priced accommodation of this hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised. The location is excellent - the breakfast buffet OK (amazing eggs though), service OK (some of the front staff seemed dismissive, however, others were great), room was well-kept with a nice, clean view outside. The pool is small but very nice - drinks at the bar are pricey though! The gym is pretty small and basic so we were a little disappointed with that, but we came for a holiday not to workout every day so that wasn't really a problem. Overall, we had a lovely stay at Baan Karonburi and are glad to have spent our holiday there.

Great resort across the road from the beach and close to everything you need. Highly recommended the pool access room.

nicely positioned hotel opposite beach

Pros: locality. pool access rooms are great.
Cons: restaurant service and staff in restaurant
Location: well positioned between Kata beach and Patong. Well positioned if you want to go to the shopping centre in Phuket Town. parasailing available opposite
from the street this resort looks like most of the others. it is directly opposite the beach and close to great restaurants/massage/laundry/hair dressers/taxi - you name it. the local karon market is about 40 metres up the road. the rooms at the front of the resort are older and a bit musty smelling but we were upgraded for free because of this and the new rooms at the back of the resort are nice. the pool area is clean and the pool is nice and private with lots of shade. the breakfast was good with good variety and fresh cooked egg choices.

Very pleasant hotel opposite Karon Beach

This is a mid range hotel which was very pleasant to stay in (I was there 4 nights) located opposite Karon Beach and about half way between Karon town centre and the Kata end of the beach. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious and well appointed - including a bath, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, balcony etc. Breakfast had a reasonable variety with 4 or 5 Asian dishes, bacon, ham, and other hot dishes, eggs cooked to order, fruit, salad, toast, pastries, cereal etc. The hotel is in two parts that run a long way back from the beach with swimming pools in front of the rooms at the back, and a swimming pool in the middle of the two accommodation buildings. It had everything I required and I would rate it 4.5 stars (site only allows 4 or 5 stars)
