The pictures do not do justice to the lushness and tranquility of the farm especially upon arrival, after the bumpy and dusty ride (typical road conditions) leading to the farm. It is the most idyllic farm I've ever visited. The animals are treated with love and the farm facility is very quaint and pretty. Every morning, chicken eggs are collected at 4:30am for our breakfast, 90% of the ingredients on our menu is grown at the farm. We had the Zamani room, it was huge without being over the top, filled with African art and lovely indoor and outdoor shower. You will really appreciate this luxury after being in the bush. Like any resort, there's a lot of activities to do but it is done with an African or farm theme. We also stayed a night at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge and if we had to choose one, we'd choose Gibbs Farm for the wonderful experience and accommodation. NCL is not really worth the price. It is worth the 1 hour ride to the crater from Gibbs Farm, don't hesitate to book it.
