Amazing staff and rooms. Our suite was impeccable when we arrived. The woman who checked us in, Hazel, I believe, was phenomenal. She was incredibly nice and assisted us with everything she needed. Overall I very much recommend staying at the WaterWalk if you're in Kansas City and need somewhere to stay. Especially long term.

This was a great place to stay, with the rate I got on Expedia. It was close to local shopping, and was just a 10 min drive to Overland Park Regional Medical Center, which was convenient for us to go see our new grandson, who was breach and so was delivered via a c-section. Our daughter-in-law's parents were staying at our son's house, so we needed somewhere to stay close by. The convenience of having a full kitchen meant we saved on our meals. We were booked for 4 nights, but we'd driven up from AZ, and there were snow storms forecast for KS, NM, and AZ, I called the day before we checked in and asked if we would be able to cancel our last night if those storms continued to be forecast and she said yes. By the time we checked in, the forecast was looking even worse, so we canceled our last night. I don't know if they would have allowed that had I not called early before the cancellation deadline...but it was great not having to pay for that last night!
