There are hardly any accommodations in the centre of Kamoenai-mura. That said, Wotif lists 2 alternative options, all within 30 kilometres.
A few good ones are the Niseko Freedom Inn and Natural Resort Niseko Weiss Hotel.
You'd be a Wally to leave without seeing the other things in Hokkaido. Check out the traditional villages. Outdoorsy types can also admire the region's coastal plains, forests, rivers and lakes. Common activities in this particular part of Japan include snowboarding, skiing and cross-country skiing.
The close by cities of Niseko and Okusawacho are certainly worth checking out. Niseko is 40 kilometres to the southeast of Kamoenai-mura, while Okusawacho is 45 kilometres to the east. Hotels in Niseko include the Kira Kira and Kisetsukan. Okusawacho choices are the Kuramure and Asari Classe Hotel.
If you are really into sports and want to watch local games, you could take a trip to Mt. Okura Ski Jump Stadium, which is situated to the east of Kamoenai-mura. The Hotel Hamilton Sapporo and the Hotel Route-Inn Sapporo Kitayojo are near the action.
If you are transiting into or out of New Chitose Airport and would like to stay nearby, try the Crowne Plaza Ana Chitose or the Hotel Wing International Chitose.
Hotels in Kamoenai start at AU$117 per night. Prices and availability subject to change. Additional terms may apply.
