Suited my need for a place to stay with my partner’s cat while he was at John Hunter. It’s a 1.5km walk on a cycle path and part bush track for the adventurous. (The track is hard to find unless using an app.). Least liked the fact that there was not a wardrobe in my room. Also, I had to close my windows to not share cigarette smoke wafting in from outdoors. And, while there were enough parking spots, many residents have big work vehicles that make it very tricky to move around.

Check in and check out fabulous. Room seems to be between renovations. Kitchen was good. Bathroom mould in some places, bathroom vanity broken and poorly fixed. Parts missing on spa although it worked. Blinds in bedrooms need cleaning and or replacing. Floor in one room had a hole in it, carpets very old. Some paint missing on walls, windows need some work done. Was easy to get to even though major road works taking place. Great comunucation with keyless check in and check out.

The property was very dirty had cigarettes buts every where in bed rooms even in sink in bathroom stale old blood on sheets and pillow cases no broom to clean floor cupboards broken door broken, firer hazard with a bed across the back door no railing in bath to get down into but one was put in when was there. Bath room is very dangerous with the bath as low as it is because it only takes someone to slip in bathroom and striaghts into the bath and they would have broken bones an more like die if they slipped and fell in there like i fell towards it bit only lucky i grabbed the sink to stop falling into the bath and it is very stupid to have a shower right over the bath makes it very difficult for elderly and people that have difficulty with mobility problems table was very lose and it could have been very serious if it had broken off and fell on someone but got it fixed for now. Never got sheets towel blankets and pillows for our 5th person Spar not working as well so much wrong and was very disappointed in the maintained and cleaning side of things very disappointed out off all the motels that i have booked through yous this is the most one that was very disappointed.

Bit disappointed. We booked a pet friendly room but got an apartment on the first floor. The spa wasn't working at all and the apartment was quite dirty (dust and stuff left under the sofa).

Hell Stay Literally our worst stay in a hotel ever. Clearly the building was a townhouse cheaply and illegally converted to five hotel rooms. One tiny window which was frosted so you can’t see out and the winder was broken so it could not be opened. That one and the small bathroom one faced onto massive flashing lights neon advertising sign. Think Times Square in New York. The light of which was impossible to keep out of the room. Mounted on the ceiling above the bed was a flashing fire alarm, a flashing internet modem with many lights and the door electronics, also flashing. During the night the door electrical panel changed to ‘checkout’ which was an incredibly bright red light that made the room so bright I could read my book ….. I wish I was joking. The bed was a Murphy bed that flipped down out of the wall with a mattress that appeared to be concrete. With only 10-12 inches on all sides between the bed and the wall you needed to walk/slide sideways to move around the room. Absolutely no way is this room up to fire code. On top of the plethora of disco lights the switch board for the building, with no cover, was mounted low on the wall beside the bed and some electrical fault was causing a repeated switching on and off of a mechanical switch every ten minutes or so that when it happened the first time we thought the panel had dropped off the wall. This loud clock/crash sound repeated every ten minutes all night long. We did not sleep …. At all.

It was great that we could bring our pet dog. We found the ergonomics of the bathroom less than desirable with the spa bath occupying too much space. Also despite signs to the contrary, there were several persons smoking on site. Otherwise, all good. Thanks Michelle
